Diagnostic Clarification

Diagnostic Clarification Evaluations

Diagnostic clarification evaluations are designed to provide a more complete understanding when symptoms feel complex, overlapping, longstanding, or difficult to explain through a brief clinical conversation alone.

At Center for Balanced Living, these evaluations are completed with clinical care, depth, and attention to the whole person. The goal is not simply to assign a diagnosis, but to understand what may be contributing to emotional distress, behavioral patterns, interpersonal challenges, cognitive concerns, developmental questions, or treatment uncertainty.

What to Expect

The Evaluation Process

Most families begin with a comprehensive screening, which is as thorough as we can be within your insurance benefit. When a question calls for more, a full comprehensive evaluation is available, though insurance does not cover it. From intake to feedback, the process usually takes about four to six weeks.
