Dr. Niki Serravalle

Dr. Niki Serravalle

Founder · Licensed Psychologist, PsyD, LPCMH, NCC

Dr. Angela “Niki” Serravalle is the founder of Center for Balanced Living and a licensed psychologist and licensed professional counselor of mental health with more than two decades of clinical experience. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed care, psychological evaluation, and professional training, with advanced specialization in trauma treatment, EMDR, and integrative approaches to healing.

Dr. Serravalle began her career at Sheppard Pratt, where she was introduced to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and trauma-focused treatment. Her clinical path continued through work in substance use treatment, intensive outpatient programming for children and adolescents, and community mental health across Maryland and Delaware. Over time, she pursued advanced training in EMDR, TF-CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, CPT, and Ecotherapy, reflecting her commitment to both evidence-based and emerging approaches in trauma care.

She later earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, where she deepened her specialization in psychological evaluation. Her practicum, internship, and postdoctoral training included work under specialists in neuropsychology and school psychology, shaping her strong interest in diagnostic clarity, neurodevelopment, and the ways systems and environments influence clinical presentation.

Today, Dr. Serravalle’s work is focused primarily on psychological evaluation, supervision, consultation, and training. Through Center for Balanced Living, she has built a practice that reflects her commitment to clinical depth, high-quality care, and the development of other professionals. She is not currently accepting new individual therapy clients. Clients seeking therapy are welcome to connect with our clinical team to explore fit and availability.
