Academic and Learning Evaluations
Academic and learning evaluations are designed to provide diagnostic clarity when there are questions about reading, writing, math, memory, processing speed, attention, executive functioning, language, or school performance.
At Center for Balanced Living, learning evaluations are completed with care and attention to the whole student.
The goal is not simply to identify whether a learning disorder is present, but to understand how cognitive, academic, emotional, behavioral, developmental, and environmental factors may be affecting school performance and daily learning demands.

What to Expect
The Evaluation Process
Educational evaluations are not covered by insurance. Ask us about payment plans and sliding scale fees. From intake to feedback, the process usually takes about four to six weeks.

Every Tuesday at 6 p.m. on Zoom, Dr. Serravalle walks through the process and answers questions. Email Kimmy to register.
